AZ Paint & Animated GIF Editor is a compact Paint program and Animated GIF Editor.
Besides tools and filters for both basic and advanced graphic
works, AZ Paint implements special capabilities which are usually
lacking in ordinary paint programs.
Integrated into AZ Paint is a full version of Animated GIF Editor, geared for use by
professionals and hobbyists alike. One may create an animated GIF file from
scratch or by assembling pre-drawn frames. The functions range from extraction
to rearrangement of frames, from palette editing to BPP changing, from image enhancing
to series resizing; and from modifying settings to minimizing the animated GIF file

AZ Paint & PNG Editor is a full version PNG Editor.
Practically PNG has two merits over GIF: (i) It is not confined to a 256-color boundary and
(ii) It provides a robust file integrity check. When comparing to JPG, PNG is more suited
for images which need to be edited repeatedly, as PNG's compression is "lossless".
In addition to tools and filters for creating and editing BMP, JPG, GIF, TGA, PCX and TIFF, etc.,
this PNG Editor specially covers functions and features unique to PNG, e.g. it provides alpha
channel editing on a magnified and grided screen. Alpha channel is preserved when you paint,
rotate or resize the image, etc. The program supports PNGs of any Bit Depth
(i.e. 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 in PNG terms) and any Color Type (0, 2, 3, 4 & 6 in PNG terms).
On Save, you may optionally set transparency, background color, interlacing, sRGB and Filter
Type, etc. If an alpha channel exists, you may choose whether to apply the original alpha values
or the edited ones.
AZ Paint & PNG Editor allows display, edit and creation of "APNG" (Animated PNG, advocated by Firefox browser). It also provides direct conversion from Animated GIF to
APNG.
